As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance user experience and ensure the sustainability of the Muslim Pro app, we are committed to providing a seamless user experience while ensuring the sustainability of our platform through advertisements. To enhance the balance between user experience and ads, we have introduced a new behaviour for full-screen interstitial ads, effective from version 16.1 onwards. 

What’s Changing?

Starting from Muslim Pro version 16.1, users might have a daily maximum interstitial ad limit that will be indicated on the home (Today) page. When the ad limit is active, users will also see a countdown message after each interstitial ad, indicating the number of daily ads seen.

Key Points of the New Ad Rule:

• Limited Interstitial Ads – A daily limit on interstitial ads may be in place
• New “Today” home page – The updated version introduces an interstitial ad counter on the Today page, allowing users to see how many interstitial ads they will encounter for the day.
• Other ad formats remain unchanged – The following ad types will continue to be displayed as usual: 
  1. App Open Ads (shown when a user launches or comes back to the app)
  2. Banner Ads
  3. Rewarded Ads (ads that unlock rewards by watching it)
  4. Qalbox In-Stream Ads (shown when Qalbox videos are playing)

Why this Change? 

Our primary goal has always been to keep Muslim Pro free for the Ummah, and ads play a crucial role in making that possible. We understand that ads may be disruptive, which is why we continuously explore ways to reduce ad exposure for our most active, engaging and loyal users.

This new rule is designed to enhance user experience by reducing these interruptions while maintaining a sustainable ad-supported model for Muslim Pro. While the introduction of the ad tracker ensures transparency, allowing users to stay informed about the number of interstitial ads displayed per day.
