Assalamu’alaikum, Muslim Pro community.

We’re excited to introduce a revamped feature in the Muslim Pro app that allows you to engage with and support our community.

The Ummah Pro feature lets you post, react, comment, and submit prayer requests.

You can access this feature via:

• The Quick Panel on the Today’s Page
• View All Features
• Ummah Pro Post Timeline

To get started, simply tap on the entry point to go to the Ummah Pro page. Please note, you'll need to set up a profile to join this Ummah Pro feature.

Creating Your Profile

To set up your profile:

1. Tap the Agree button first.

2. Then, simply enter your name, date of birth, and gender.

 

 

If needed, you will be prompted to verify your account after logging in.

Important Notes:
To create a valid username, please follow these rules:

• It must contain only letters (a-z) and numbers (0-9).
• The username should be between 6-30 characters long.

Once your account is set up successfully, you’ll be able to access the Ummah Pro page.

There are two tabs available:

• All: Displays posts from other users.
• Mine: Shows the posts you’ve submitted or shared on the timeline. You can also delete your past posts here.

Please note the following conditions:

• If you skip filling out the birthday and gender fields, the screen will be locked.
• If you don’t provide consent for a nickname, gender, and birthday, you will still be able to access the Ummah Pro tab but can only use the Prayer Request feature.
• If your age is under 13, you will only have access to the Prayer Request feature.
• If you share content that violates our Terms and Conditions, your account will be temporarily suspended for 30 days.
• If you continue to share sensitive information that violates the Terms and Conditions, your account will be permanently suspended.

Labels and Hashtags

We offer 4 types of labels for your posts:

• Prayer Request
• Prayer Request (Hajj)
• Palestine
• Post

When you click on a specific label, it will display only the posts tagged with that label.

Additionally, you can add hashtags to your posts. If you click on a hashtag, it will show the latest posts associated with that hashtag.

Post Notifications for Ummah Pro

After sharing a post on Ummah Pro, you can choose to receive notifications for interactions on your post.

To enable this:

 

1. Tap the Settings icon.

2. Go to Communication Preferences

3. Select Post Notifications.

You can choose to receive notifications for the following actions:

• Views
• Reactions
• Replies

Once activated, you'll receive notifications when there’s engagement on your post.

Creating a Post

Please note the following:

• Free users must like or comment on 5 posts before they can create a post.
• This requirement does not apply to Premium users.

To create a post:

1. Tap the pencil icon in the bottom right corner.

2. A blank space will appear where you can type your message (up to 200 characters).

3. You can choose to show or hide your location by toggling the location button.

4. Once you're ready, tap the "Post" button. Your post will be published, and you can also add comments.

You may encounter error messages when posting due to the following reasons:

• Exceeding the character limit
• Connectivity issues
• Violating the feature guidelines

 

Deleting a Post
To delete a post you've created on Ummah Pro:

1. Go to the [Mine] tab or the post page.

 

2. Tap the three vertical dots on the right side of the post.

3. Choose the [Delete] option.

4. A confirmation pop-up will appear—click [Delete] to confirm.

 

 

 

Commenting on a Post
To comment on a post:

 

1. Select and tap on the post.

2. You will be directed to the post's dedicated page. Tap the reply box to type your comment.

3. On this page, you can also use the Ask AiDeen feature.

 

4. Type your comment in the reply box and tap the Send button to post.

 

Please note that the character limit applies to comments as well. You will receive an error message if you exceed the limit or violate the guidelines.

If there are multiple comments on a post, you can click [Replies] to view more.

 

Reacting to a Post
In addition to commenting, you can react to or like a post on Ummah Pro. Here's how:

 

1. Tap the heart icon to react.

2. Tap and hold the heart icon to select a different reaction or choose another icon. You can only select one reaction per post.

 

3. The post will display the total number of reactions. To view the details, tap on the post to open its page and tap on the reactions to see the breakdown.

 

 

 

Reporting a Post

Please note the following:

• Free users must like or comment on 5 posts before they can create a post.
• This requirement does not apply to Premium users.

To report a post:

1. Tap the three dots icon on the right side of the post you want to report. Then, select report to proceed. 

 

 

2. Tap the Report button again to confirm. The post will be automatically hidden after reporting.

Sharing a Post
To share a post:

1. Tap the share icon on the post.

 

2. For image share, you will be directed to the share settings page where you can choose the color.

 

3. Tap the Share Post button to share it with your friends on social media.

 

You can also share it on social media, for example on Instagram, 

 

Inviting Friends
If you see the Invite button on Ummah Pro or on the post timeline, simply click it to send an invitation to your friends via email or text message.
