How to Get Accurate Prayer Times in the Muslim Pro App

Accurate prayer times are calculated based on your location using specific rules and methods, including conventional angular values.

There are two types of prayer times in the app:

  1. Pre-calculated prayer times
  2. Prayer times with manual settings

How to Get Verified Prayer Times for Your City?

We have verified prayer times for most major cities in France, Belgium, the United Kingdom (UK), Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and we frequently add new ones.

If you want your city's prayer times added to the list of verified prayer times, please contact your local mosques or religious authorities and request that they send their prayer times to help@muslimpro.com.

Please note that we do not accept prayer times from third parties or individuals. Only prayer times sent by Mosques and/or Religious Authority will get verified in the Muslim Pro app.

Automatic Settings (Pre-Calculated Prayer Times)

Cities with prayer times verified by local Mosques or Religious Authorities will display a special "Verified" badge next to the city or location name.

1. Click [Profile] tab menu and then click on the [Settings] show as gear icon located at the top right corner

  • Manual Settings

The application attempts to apply the appropriate settings for your location automatically, but you may need to modify them from the Settings page. You can also manually adjust the prayer times to match those provided by your local mosque or religious authority.

If you notice small discrepancies (usually within 1-10 minutes), these are likely due to preventive delays applied by most mosques and religious authorities. You may need to adjust the [Manual corrections] values for optimal accuracy.

  • If you observe larger errors, you may need to modify the convention in the [Prayer Time Calculation] menu. This menu also allows you to adjust the Asr calculation and higher latitudes methods.

Please also note that errors/offsets of plus or minus one hour for all prayers are usually due to an incorrect DST setting (daylight saving time)
